My work celebrates stones, trees, cells and lichen, forests, lakes, roadways and the skies above.

Unencumbered by my physical body, my eyes and mind are freed to fly, float and dance through the spaces I create. It is this interaction with the small world I am creating along with the physical act of layering, marking, shifting concealing and revealing that I love and is the reason I create my work.

From its sweeping expanses to the tiniest details, landscape is my love and my inspiration. Process and the sheer joy of creating are what compel me to create my work.

I combine watercolor, water-soluble pencils, acrylic paints and mediums, and collage to create my abstract and layered landscapes.
